About me
Ming-Hui Wen (Don) is currently a Professor and director of innovation incubation center of the National Taipei University of Business in Taiwan. He has been working in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and User experience (UX) research for more than a decade. Don is interested in hacking product growth from turning innovative ideas into internet products. He also a casual speculator of forex and futures trading.
Don is the co-founder and product lead of two popular financial LINE bots- "Quants (微股力)- a stock investment chatbot" and "CheckChick (記帳_) - an expense tracker chatbot" in Taiwan. Both of these two chatbots are supported to be added in the LINE room/group for multiplayer use and have 300-400K LINE users. Quants and CheckChick have also been elected as the partner of LINE Protostar.
Don has been invited by LINE Techpulse 2017 to introduce Quants stockbot. He also leads the team of CheckChick to win the "1st Runner-up" prize in LINE-hack 2018. In recent two years, he has given 30+ invited speech/workshop/short-term courses in the design of chatbot in terms of chatbot API application and chatbot UX design. He also issued five patents of conversational user interface for innovative chatbot applications.
As one of LINE API experts, Don wishes he can contribute to help people who interested in using LINE APIs (e.g., chatbot, LIFF, mini-apps) to find the product-market fit from the UX perspective.
