Introducing Tips for Developers

2026/02/10

Hi, I'm Horikoshi. I'm a technical writer working on the documentation for the LINE Developers site.

We've launched a new content section Tips for Developers on the LINE Developers site.

What is Tips for Developers?

Tips for Developers is a lightweight, easy-to-read content category. It's separate from the documentation and API reference.

The LINE Developers site covers a wide range of products, such as the Messaging API and the LINE MINI App. The documentation also spans many topics. We publish updates in the news section for major feature additions or specification changes. However, we also make many small improvements and additions. There are also many useful existing features that aren’t newly released but are not widely known, along with documentation that explains how to use them.

That's why we started Tips for Developers. It's a place to highlight the small improvements and existing features and documentation that we want developers to know about, as well as best practices for development, case studies and other things that aren't new information, but deserve a fresh spotlight.

We'll share quick tips that take just 5 minutes to read. Posts will be written in rotation by technical writers, support team members, and engineers.

For the first post, here's a meta tip: introducing a new content section called Tips for Developers.
