Stop using the Messaging API

If you want to continue using your LINE Official Account linked to a Messaging API channel, but want to stop using the Messaging API, see Stop using the Messaging API.

To stop using your LINE Official Account linked to a Messaging API channel, follow the steps below to delete your LINE Official Account. When you delete your LINE Official Account linked to a Messaging API channel, the Messaging API channel will also be deleted.

1. Select the Messaging API channel you want to delete on the LINE Developers Console.
2. The Basic settings tab will be appear. Click the Delete in the Delete this channel section.

3. The Delete this channel? modal will appear. Click the Go to LINE Official Account Manager.

4. The LINE Official Account Manager will open in new tab and the Delete LINE official account screen will appear. The following steps will be performed on the LINE Official Account Manager. Check the I agree to the above and wish to permanently delete my LINE official account and click the Delete account.

5. The Permanently delete this LINE official account? modal will appear. When you click the Delete, your LINE Official Account will be deleted and the Messaging API channel linked to your LINE Official Account will also be deleted.
